Our Official Launch

This is the official launch of my sister and my blog devoted to all things novel and tea. Check back often to see what sorts of books and tea and other goodies we are posting...we are really excited to do something together like this and hope other folks out there might just enjoy it too!

Sincerely,
Christie and Heidi

  1. Wow - this is soooo cool, girls! Love it!
I want to do one now! Tee hee. The only thing is getting someone on board with me to do something of mutual interest. I will surely follow you and put you on my blog roll.

PS - love the music, too

  2. Did those who pioneered the south lose appreciation for hot tea? Was it the heat? Was it because they last thing they wanted on break or was steaming tea after working outside all day cultivating the land? In a gross stereotype, our society simply lacks the affection for tea found elsewhere in the country. We typically have one recipe for tea - almost frozen with 2 cups of sugar to the gallon.

Ironically, I was thinking of you this morning as I opened up a packet of Harney & Sons' "Serene Caribe" The description reads, "a blend of green and black teas, guava and strawberry." What language is this? What do I put in it? What would Christie do? I have this tea only because my husband pilfered it from the complimentary tea bar at the highest cultured hotel in Texas. People who can afford their rooms must have ancestors who stayed indoors and kept tea time.

So, mentor me please girls. I kept the Caribe tea to the side for fear of failure.
